Highs and lows
An evolution or the current Clubland series which sees a continuation of the current trend - speeding up pop music, adding a similar bassline throughout and hope for the best.
Clubland has always been popular with the teen fraternity due to its fast paced dance remixes and bounce character. All the usual suspects are featured: Darren Styles, Ultrabeat, Hypasonic & Micky Modelle to name but a few. For the most part, this is a lively, punchy album which will appeal to its usual demographic. New customers should note however, that it's not for everyone, and if your not in the correct frame of mind, you may find yourself angered by this cd.
The main issues I have with this album, are the same as I've had with any recent Clubland compilation. It is blatantly mixed produced by a long haired greasy gimp and a computer - which is tragic in itself; there is very little if any variation between the constant fast paced beat, which plunders on incessantly for nearly 4 hours; and yet again, there is the dubious "live" cd... Who in their right mind would believe disc 3 to be live I wonder. If the badly dubbed sound effect of a crowd cheering is the closest we can get then lord help us.
Overall a distinclty average release. It will appeal to those who always buy Clubland, but brings nothing new to the table, and contains the same irritating foibles as before.

Once again AATW have brought us the 2nd clubland of the year, but there's something missing!.....


Cascada of course!
Hopefully Nat & the guys will have the next album out for the summer clubland album!!

Brilliant price though I'm not actually sure about the music! Depends if you like that kinda thing - bought as a gift for my teenage son - say no more!
