Editorial Reviews

CD Description
On his third official studio LP (and first for Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam), Jadakiss branches out from the traditional East Coast boom-bap he's been known for since putting it down with the Lox. With contributions from a lengthy list of guest artists and producers, THE LAST KISS sees Jada flirting with Dirty South crunk, ATL trap rap, and synthesizer-driven radio-friendly hip-hop. On the lyrical side, the D-Block representative remains as combative as ever, spitting aggressive one-liners and clever boast-fueled rhymes. From the outset, Jadaproclaims that he's come to bring listeners "slick talk, pain, and torture". The Yonkers lyricist lays down a list of head-scratching hypotheticals alongside Nas on the impressive"What If" and composes a heartfelt message to his deceased friend on "Letter to B.I.G". The eclectic production comes courtesy of Swizz Beatz, Ne-Yo, the Neptunes, Mr. Porter, Eric Hudson, Buckwild, and Sean C & LV, among others.

What the game needed!5
After waiting 5 years since his last album Kiss Of Death, Jada drops the eagerly awaited The Last Kiss and he doesn't disapoint.

A track list of 18 songs with no skits, what more could you want? Topped with features such as Nas, Raekwon, Ghostface, Styles, Sheek, Lil Wayne, Mary J. and Faith Evans to name a few. Producers such as Alchemist, Pharrell and Swizz Beatz it's a sure fire shot to be a hot album.

The fact there are alot of guest appearences shouldn't put anyone off as Kiss comes through with his usual raspby monontonous flow with hard hitting lyrics, amazing lyrics infact as he's able to rap about a whole load of different scenarios e.g child abuse, women abuse etc. The Track What If with Nas is on a similar par with Why in the way he imagines situations and asks What if?

The album starts with the track Pain & Torture which is typical ferocious Kiss coming hard to set the standard of the album. It sets a good tone for the rest of the CD.

This album is a must if you already like Jada, Styles, Sheek, The Lox, D-Block. But even if your only interested in a little rap and maybe wanna try something different then this is the one, guarenteed to be the real hip hop album of the year.

Standout tracks:

Pain & Torture, Who's real, Grind Hard, Something Else, One More Step, Stress Ya (HOT TUNE), What If, Things Ive Been Through, Letter to BIG and Death Wish.

This is gonna be one to drive around in with the window's open blazing the album for the streets to hear during the summer no doubt about it!!

Cop that NOW!

pop music2
cant believe the good reviews above, this album is very pop an not much rap. i know Jadakiss is commercial rap but this is alongway off 'kiss of death'. good lyrics as always from Jada but weak beats! there is adleast 4 good tracks but if your into rap music then you might be dissapointed with this.
