This is a fun DVD to do, as you can change about the routines to stop it from getting boring. But I can attest that it did what it was supposed to do - I lost 4kg in 4 weeks using it
Also cut out alcohol to be fair, but I found using this made me feel more positive about my body generally and willing to keep up the exercise.

Great all round DVD4
This DVD is really useful. It allows you to create many different sequences so you're less likely to get bored. The number of sequences makes it seem slightly confusing at first but if you read the "how to use this DVD" notes you can work your way round.

The commentary is clear and gives a good explanation of the postures, plus telling you of the benefits (which helps motivate you to hold some of the more tricky postures!).

The sequences are asthanga based and could be used from beginner to advanced level.

Good teacher, clear routines4
I haven't done yoga seriously for about 5 years, and even then I wasn't very good. Having done a few classes I can say that the instructor on this DVD is as clear with her instructions and directions for positioning and breathing as any instructor I've had. I must say that I am quite out of shape though, and some of the poses in the beginners section aren't as beginner as they could be e.g. you could just put your leg on your calf for the tree pose rather than trying to hoist it up to your thigh on the first go. Additionally the 'half moon pose' is pretty advanced I'd say for beginners, you're a much more flexible person than I if you can manage it straight off! I have looked at the more advanced section, and it looks to be at a level I used to be at (or liked to think I was at), and I'm confident that this DVD will take me through my initial foray back into yoga and beyond to the more advanced section.
