its a goodun
I bought this phone to replace an ageing Sony Ericsson and I'm glad I did,
It doe's everything it says on the box, I like the way it connects to my computor via a usb cable spot on for downloading music and film clips also for uploadind to my computor, The program that comes with the phone is easy to install plus you get software to sought your photos out its basic but it doe's the job. The phone itself is brilliant, easy to use also you can upgrade the memory to two gigs so you will always have plenty of room for photos and music. The only downside is the flip part of the phone is a bit flimsy, also you need to charge the battery up often, all in all I'm very happy with this product. I didn't get the pound with the phone when I registered it though as promised.
Pleasure, but not business.
Apart from one thing, I love this phone. It's pretty; it's slim, but the keys are still usable; the camera is good, the sound isn't bad, the menus are pretty intutive, the dedicated PC software is surprisingly sophisticated. Even living without predictive text is bearable (SE has hideous T9 predictive text which is the first thing to switch off - goodness, how much I hadn't missed that since I last had an SE mobile!).
Everyone who has seen me use it loves this phone and is really interested in it - until I tell them that the reminder alarm for calendar entries is a tiny squeak. Most people express disbelief; they can't believe that a modern mobile doesn't let the user customize the calendar alarm - but, trust me: this sound cannot be changed or customized. I know: I contacted Sony Ericsson and their customer service responded with impressive alacrity; but said "No, it can't" and "No, there are no plans to make it do it". Nor are there any further alarm sounds if the initial reminder is not actioned. With hindsight, it is quite annoying that it isn't made clear in the specifications that this is a "feature".
So, basically, it's lovely, but it's a toy, not adaptable to any kind of business, semi-business or businesslike use, and I'm gutted, but I shall have to sell it on (and lose at least 50% of the pruice, looking at eBay prices), because it really isn't any use to me. If you want to text people, ring people, take pictures, listen to music and be woken up at a time of your choice, go for it; if you need a loudish and insistent alarm to remind to go to the dentist/doctor/barber/coffeeshop to meet your friends or whatever, you need a different phone.
Fab
I am not one of those folks who wants the latest gadget or designer labels, I just wanted a basic pay as you go mobile phone, in case of emergencies, and a basic camera.
You cannot go far wrong with this model, for the price it is more than just a phone and a camera. The phone itself is great, as good as any other mobile phone, and the camera pictures are not bad too, it will not take over from my main stand alone camera, but it is good to have with you all the time in case you want a quick pic taken.
But there is so much more to this little moby. It is a walkman, which is great as I never had a walkman, it connects to the internet, which is great if you need to. It plays the radio with a good crisp signal, which is great for sitting out in the garden without the need for cables. And I can email messages and photos etc. as well as text, which is an added bonus for me...
The neat little speaker that comes with this bundle is fab too, and the battery seems to last a while even playing the radio for a few hours non-stop.
I am more than happy with this mobile phone, it was a bargain price, fast delivery, and everything i needed and more.
Definately Recommended...
