Editorial Reviews
Synopsis
FM is a hilarious British sitcom that takes you behind the scenes of fictional indie music station Skin FM. Chris O'Dowd (THE IT CROWD) stars alongside fellow comedy stalwarts Kevin Bishop (STAR STORIES, THE KEVIN BISHOP SHOW) and Nina Sosanya (NATHAN BARLEY) as the dysfunctional DJ/producer team spinning discs and discussing the 'perils of skinny jeans'. This release includes all 6 episodes of the show's first series.
Customer Reviews
Absolutely brilliant comedy.
Really enjoyed this. Caught a few episodes on TV but didn't manage to see them all, and ITV web player not good, so decided to buy on DVD. Such a well written, well acted comedy. Would be as big as peep show if it had been on the bbc. I do urge everyone to buy this on DVD.
More than met my expectations... ...laugh outloud funny
I'm always a bit wary of low rated British sitcoms, particularly when I've never heard of them. I had the opportunity to watch this and gave it a go. It's laugh outloud funny in several places and never really drops the ball.
Chris O'Dowd is better than i've ever seen him, the writing, unlike in the IT Crowd allows him to display his truly expert comic acting, and Nina Sosanya plays the (slightly minxy,) straight man well.
I have high hopes for this in the future. Ones always a bit cautious of comparing things to The Office, but with a bit of luck i think this may grow into something of a household name.
"Great stuff"
This is much better than I expected, it's full of laughs, inapropriate hillarities and brilliant comedy acting from Chris O'Dowd (The IT Crowd), Kevin Bishop (the Kevin Bishop Show) and Nina Sosanya (teachers) and for £12 it's a steal.
I mean come on you could spend £12 on a boring old ipod case or a few burgers at McDonalds, OR you could spend it on this and HAVE SOME FUN.
In conclusion, FM is refreshingly orignal and well scripted, an energtetic comedy for the 21st century, So are you going to buy that ink cart from currys for £29 or are you going to spend £12 on this and have laugh afer laugh?
