Synopsis
Combine the juvenile smut of Superbad with the cringing embarrassment of Peep Show, against the 'stylish' backdrop of Grange Hill, and what do you get? E4's hilarious comedy The Inbetweeners. A super sharp, one-liner packed celebration of the highs and lows of being a teenager. Perfectly capturing the relentless disappointment of suburban adolescence, the show's four main characters yearn for sex, booze and cheap thrills, without the emotional maturity, money or ID to get them. This release includes the complete second series.

Special Features:
Day in the life of video diaries (four main actors)
Littlehampton Featurette
Meet the Team
Mr Gilbert interview
Easter egg
Deleted Scenes
Outtakes/Bloopers

Pure gold5
There is normally a drop un the quality of second series but this is not the case ,as the first series layed the plot and introduced the main actors , series two takes them to the limits of hilarity.

The same story in each episode a "quest for love" that put the boys in a win-win situation "what can go wrong ?" ,well everything . The good about this comedy is that the situations are very real and anyone with slighty clumsy mates will relate to them.

In terms of the episodes there are all very good and original but "exam time" has a 10/10 factor with many jokes coming one after the other and a massive one at the end that left me on the floor.

The second series ends with AS exams ,so there is another year of fun ahead and series 3 will start filming soon.

No second season blues5
The Inbetweeners has successfully captured life as teenager. Whilst shows like Skins make life to be one long sex filled party, with drama and crazy adventures, this show has captured what being a teenage boy is like for most of us - boring and frustrating. That's no bad thing though. It means that almost anyone can relate to the characters, for instance, everyone you talk to knows a character like Jay.

The comedy is like that of peep show in that it'll make you cringe, and it might not be for everyone, but its definitely worth watching. When i first saw the adverts I thought it would be rubbish, but give it a go and you won't regret it. I think it's fair to say that this is also a big improevment on an already great first series.

Fantastic5
This is an amazing series. Full of humour. It really appeals to me as it is fairly reminiscent of life in state school sixth forms. It is very nostalgic. I would recommend to anyone who has an outlandish sense of humour and anyone who is not easily offended by crude language. :) A good gift for that university student.
