Customer Reviews

Just what I was looking for5
I too wanted to have all my music in the car without the bother of storing CDs for which I don't much [hidden]space in my car. This product is ideal in nearly every way. It charges my Ipod Nano, apparently while it is playing, and comes on and starts the iPod playing as soon as I turn the ignition on. I did find the unit's own choice of a clear channel to be a bit flawed but it is easy enough to manually find one here in Devon where the airwaves are not polluted with unwanted commercial radio stations all playing the same rubbish. The power plug stays in the lighter socket easily because on the Honda Jazz the socket is tilted upwards.

Overall a good product which I feel is worth the money.

Works fine, no issues with interference4
Previously had a Kensington unit to power an ipod and got this one from Amazon for my wife's new iphone. Plugged it in, hit the smartscan button to find a spare frequency and we were straight up and running. Our car (a Vauxhall Zafira) does not have a high end audio system but had no issues with picking up the signal from the Griffin. The sound quality is ok and I had no problems with interference even though adjacent frequency bands had stations on them. I suspect limiting factor on sound quality in my case are the speakers in the car.

The only usability area where it doesnt score as well as my old kensington unit is in accessing preset frequencies if you want to switch. Its more fiddly on this one.

So far so good

Can't fault it.5
I had the first version of this ipod transmitter and I was so disappointed. It was with some trepidation that I ordered this but what a great surprise when I tried it out. Its so simple to set up. Unbox, plug into your ipod or iphone, plug in lead to cigarette lighter point, push scan and the transmitter checks for clear FM signals, gives you the location, you return to that frequency and the music comes through the radio. takes less time to do it then to write about it.

Great buy!!!
