Customer Reviews

Chasing Perfection5
Well I have waivered between scoring this album four or five stars and there is no doubt that it is not a perfect album, however there is enough fantastic pop on here to award it the very top score available.

1.If This Is Love-A slice of pop perfection, fits well with the current trend of electro, synth driven pop music. 10/10
2.Up-For me this wasn't quite as good as their first single, but it's still fantastic. 9/10
3.Keep Her-It was listening to a clip of this song that convinced me to buy the album, it's angry, it's powerful, it's brilliant. 10/10
4.Issues-The first ballad of the album, it's a little cheesy, but still extremely likeable. 8/10
5.Lies-Back to their sassy best here, as this funky upbeat tune races through. 9/10
6.Work-The new single and what a cracker, a great track to work out to, or dance around to. 9/10
7.Chasing Lights-At first I disliked this, but it's really grown on me, a mid-tempo ballad. 9/10
8.Set Me Off-This is back to the upbeat and another strong tune. 8/10
9.Fall-Now this is where the album slips slightly in my mind; it simply isn't up to the standard that the rest sets. 7/10
10.Vulnerable-This is my least favourite tune here, it is forgettable and bland pop. 6/10
11.Why Me, Why Now-This is a great last track and worthy of finishing off a great album. 10/10
12.Up (Remix)-Rather a pointless and watered down version of the ordinary track. 7/10
13.Just Can't Get Enough-OK, so it's corny, cheesy, doesn't really fit in with the rest of the album and it's a cover, but who cares-it's fun! 10/10

Pop at its best4
I bought this on the strength of hearing the single "Up" and was half expecting the album to be a lot of fillers all sounding the same, but the majority of the songs on here are good, the songs to me all have a good melody, so I was pleasantly suprised when I listened to it all and there wasn't one song which I thought was duff. I love the electronic feel to it and in some cases reminded me of the Human Leauge. Danceable and funky. They of course have been likened to them but I have to say better than Girls Aloud on the whole. Vocals very strong and to the forefront, again stronger than GA.

Is this a con4
There was a time when an artist would release an album and then move on to the next one. But not any more ,artists seem to release an album over and over again with just the adition of an extra track or video.
While the fan / customer has the choice of buying the revamped version or not,I always get the feeling of getting ripped off.
This album by the Saturdays is being repromoted and all that has happen is they have added one extra track.
So before you buy this album for the second time why not wait till christmas when it will be repackaged for the 3rd or 4th time with another hit single and a few videos. Just look how many times its happened with Rihanna reloaded album.
