Half the tracks are great, half are rubbish, but gameplay is excellent as expected.
There's no doubt that this is a fun game, but the title "pop edition" is misleading, some of the songs on there are not big pop songs and they could have chosen so many superior songs to put on here.
The gameplay is brilliant though, a few different options on how to play, and you can download the voice control (for free) from the SingStore.
There are 702 songs in the SingStore today, I've downloaded 10 of them, they would have made much better selections for this "Pop" disc.
Most of the songs on this disc are not available from the SingStore though so if you really want those songs you have no choice but to buy this, just make sure you get it at a decent price then you won't feel ripped off.

finally the angel has landed

Yes i would agree with other reviewers that there have been bigger POP hits released but everyone seems to have missed the fact that Robbie Williams ANGELS is on this disk, and that alone makes it well worth buying. I have been waiting from the very first release of singstar on the ps2 for a disk to have this song on so i for one was very happy to dance around with my wireless mike ( whens the glitter version going to be released?? ) to the great selection of songs that this disk offers.

PS3 Sing Star & its unknow artists.....
maybe its just me, but i looked through this listing and found there were so many names and songs i had necver even heard of and would never want to again.... i guess they were cheap to buy.... but not great to sing-a-long to at home... none of our friends knew over 80% of these...
