Bill Maynard at is best5
This brings back fond memories of good television comedy when I was young. Bill Maynard (aka Claud Greengrass) plays a hyper active mummys boy.
Driving the commitee of a working mans club slowly mad with is clumsy actions and daft suggestions at club meetings.

Back to the Seventies !!!5
I was only a small boy back in 1974 when this terrific show came on television and i quickly became a fan of the hapless halfwit who props up the bar with a pint of beer and a bag of nuts and his love of words he learned from the " Times supplement ". Just by sheer chance, i decided to see if Amazon had this series on DVD because more and more old classics are being digitally remastered for re-release and i was delighted to find that the first series was available and i pre-ordered series 2 straight away. A friend of mine who was born in the 80s didnt seem too keen to take a trip to my past childhood and relive my memories but he was soon howling with hysterical laughter and we made a habit of getting a takeaway and sitting down with Selwyn for chaos a plenty.

We are now looking forward to series 2 of Scarsdales finest with mayhem and laughs in great supply.

" hey Hey...Magic our Maurice !!! "

Oh No, It's Selwyn Froggitt!4
Dated comedy, but a reminder of what made us laugh in a world more innocent. Selwyn is an affable character, always getting in a stew. I have a strong suspicion it's now non-pc to laugh at such people, but I don't care. Particularly good for those who yearn for the 1970's.
