Customer Reviews

Doesn't work on PS34
I have a backwards compatible PS3 and this didnt play on it for some reason, the graphics were all pixelated and then it would crash.
Exchanged it for the PS3 version and it is fab !

glorified track pack or best guitar hero?4
guitar hero smash hits is a compilation of all the best of the guitar hero music.(actually, seriously, who let iron maden in? tut tut)but nevertheless it has some great tracks like through the fire and flames by dragonforce, monkey wrench by foo fighters and i love rock n' roll by joan jett and the black hearts.

gameplay:

ok, so i am reviewing the ps2 version which brings 7th gen graphics. neversoft have managed to get round this problem in the pastwith world tours good camera anglesbut this time they've completely and i think that may be something to do with the new company thats got involved, beenox.

also this time they have left out the music studio meaning there are no new modes to get excited about.

so to conclude if you are buying this game on ps2 it's always better to have the full band pack with drums vocals and guitar but i would only go for it if you are a first timer to the series. oh well still beats rock band.

so i am going to give this product a decent 8 and a half out of 10.

guitar hero greatest hits4
An excellent chance for the opportunity to play already owned songs with the complete band, for all metal fans who wish to take the classic Guitar Hero games further or people who have just discovered the world of Guitar Heros this should appeal accross the board.
