DVD Description
“Bloody Aussie Gits!”
The fourth series of the Til Death Us Do Part sequel finds Alf warming to the idea of marriage to Mrs Hollingsbury. First he’ll need the approval of her brother, who lives in Australia, so get ready for the views of one angry Englishman Down Under…
They might be a loony left council, but they’re willing to sell off council houses for tiny proportion of their value. Hence Alf’s wooing (is his own unique way) of upstairs neighbour, Mrs Hollingbury – much to the amazement of Mr Johnson and, new lodger and carer, Pele.
Along with a distraught Arthur, so nearly a millionaire football pools winner, love’s not so young dream take a trip to Australia home of Alf’s prospective brother-in-law. There, in addition to the flies, spiders, sharks and crocodiles, Alf discovers a few other slippery characters.
As he views the delights of Sydney, Alf takes on everything from colonial history to topless sunbathing; from opera houses to aborigines. While, for the locals, he provides the best possible chance to sample the choice complaints of the original whinging Pom!

series 4 of the classic BBC series
Series 4 of In Sickness And In Health continues to be as funny as ever. Warren Mitchell gives his usual very funny performance as Alf Garnett. This season sees Alf having to woo Mrs Hollingbury (superbly played by Carmel McSharry)so he can buy their council house and then sell it for a large profit. The final three episodes are set in Australia where Alf, Mrs Hollingbury and Alfs pal Arthur (played by the late great Arthur English) travel to Australia to meet Mrs Hollingbury's brother. Sadly Marrigold Alfs gay black helper has left the series which is a shame as he was such a great and funny character. Still the rest of the cast are there and are as funny as ever. All in all a very funny series and well worth watching. Personally I can't wait for series 5 to be released.
in sickness and in health
Comparend to the formerly relased episodes this was - except for the two episodes in Australia - a complete disappointment. Just a shadow from its brothers released before. I didn't even bother to view the episoded to the end, just alk talk talk between Warren Mitchell and Arthur English. Sorry not to share a better comment
