'Goodnight Unknown' is the second album from Lou Barlow under his own name and comes some four years since his 2005 debut 'Emoh'. Recorded and produced by himself with the help ofmetal producer Andrew Murdock (Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack), the album sees Barlow taking inspiration from his Folk Implosion work and his early days in Sebadoh, creating a fuller, richer sound while managing to maintain the appeal of his lo-fi roots. The Melvins drummer Dale Crover and regular collaborator and guitarist Imaad Wasif also appear.
