Buy new: £2.75 No tape is supplied with camcorders these days, so again you will need some. I have found these Sony ones to be decent quality

You will need plenty of disk space on your PC. 1 hour of raw footage takes up about 11-12Gb of space.

CD-RW drives are very handy for burning short movies onto in MPEG1(VCD). Great for sharing.
