You don't really need much more than this. Not perfect; you don't get Red Balloon, Every Little Hurts or If I were a Carpenter. And two of the decca tracks are on the Immediate cd for some reason.

The decca stuff is the most raw sounding music probably of all time and the songs are pure pop; it doesn't get any better than this.

Truth is pretty lame on paper; few originals and most tracks being pretty basic 12-bar blues. But listen to tracks 2 and 4; great vocals and guitar performances. And comes with Hi-ho silver as a bonus

Rod generally got worse as time went on. His earliest work isn't his best, but the seeds of brilliance are here.

Compared to most of the rubbish they both did after 1975 this is surprisingly good.

If you can get a hold of this; don't know where or how but try this baby. Again there's a lot of novelty songs, but when they rock there's no better band.

Generally regarded as their best; prob as its got stay with me, their most well known hit. Only 9 tracks, but theres no filler here.

Rod's gone walkabout half of the time. Once you here the title track, you'll probably wish he stayed away more often.

You can pick this up well cheap. Its got a few rarer tracks, and I'm not sure whether they're just poor quality but most of these sound like different versions; listen to wham bam... for example

This is the second beck album with roderick and woods. Not as good as the first and even less orginal material. Still its about great blues performances and it doesn't dissapoint on that note.

Purely for the guitar playing, as they can't roar like any of the other bands here, but they're still a dedicated 60's beat group. Jeff Beck is clearly a superior player than Clapton or Paige

Just for those who think the above are a load of Stones wannabes. Like the Beatles, the Stones are just a pop band compared to this lot.
