TimelessTimeless by Goldie
Buy new: £6.88 / Used from: £2.80
The birth of mainstream drum n bass, still play regularly today
SaturnzReturnSaturnzReturn by Goldie
Buy new: £15.48 / Used from: £1.35
The critics panned it, god knows why, people just need to think outside the box
Music for the Jilted GenerationMusic for the Jilted Generation by The Prodigy
Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £1.64
Out of the Prodigy's 4 albums, this one is my favourite, not really a filler on here.
PlayPlay by Moby
Buy new: £6.18 / Used from: £0.28
Greatest trip-hop/chill out album around. Some great music on here to sit back and chill out to.
Up the BracketUp the Bracket by The Libertines
Buy new: £8.98 / Used from: £5.94
Great debut album from a truly great band. Pete and Carl worked so well together, writing some great songs.
The LibertinesThe Libertines by The Libertines
Buy new: £8.98 / Used from: £4.48
Like "Up The Bracket" but perhaps a little more downbeat in it's lyrical content, the Libertines really left their mark
Down In AlbionDown In Albion by Babyshambles
Buy new: £7.48 / Used from: £1.78
Now this album is a funny one. Some great songs and 3 not so good ones, has a great raw feel to it, however, i'd say that it is a defined taste
Shotter's NationShotter's Nation by Babyshambles
Buy new: £6.98 / Used from: £3.87
Shotter's nation suggests that Pete and babyshambles have matured with this album, some great songs with tight production.
New FormsNew Forms by Roni Size
Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £0.78
Drum n Bass again at it's finest. Roni Size won the 1997 mercury prize for new Forms, well deserved, mixing jungle drum n bass with jazz andsoul elements, he has now cemented himself as a dnb legend.
Pleased To Meet YouPleased To Meet You by James
Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £3.11
James's last album before their break up in 2002, it wasn't recieved well bar 'getting away with it all'', but for me it's my personal favoruite. Melodic and with tom booths great lyrics.
Hey MaHey Ma by James
Buy new: £4.68 / Used from: £3.80
James again with "Hey Ma", 7 years after their break-up i was sceptical, all too often bands reform and sound stale, here however, it's as if they were never apart.
Brothers In ArmsBrothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.40
Dire straits often get tagged with the ''Dad's Band'' label, but frankly who cares? Moeny for nothing has probably the greatest guitar riff ever, and the title track is the best of knopfler's work.
