Super Mario 64 DS (Nintendo DS)Super Mario 64 DS (Nintendo DS)
Buy new: £24.16 / Used from: £13.49
Even if you've played the N64 original to death, you should still buy this, as it's WAY more then just a port. 30 more stars, 3 new playable characters, multiplayer battles, and LOADS of minigames.
Mario Kart DS (Nintendo DS)Mario Kart DS (Nintendo DS)
Buy new: £22.99 / Used from: £12.95
This game was virtually revolutionary as it was the only game to come close to rivaling Super Mario Kart on the SNES. Either burn up the circuits to unlock more stuff, or play against friends .
New Super Mario Bros. (Nintendo DS)New Super Mario Bros. (Nintendo DS)
Buy new: £24.87 / Used from: £14.98
Before this, it had been over 15 years since the last Super Mario Bros. game (not counting the SNES to GBA ports) but as soon as you turn on this game, you'll realise that it was worth the wait!
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Nintendo DS)Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Nintendo DS)
Buy used from: £19.45
Taking a gba game, porting it onto the DS, and adding an extra level isn't really the best idea, but the great use of the DS' features in the last level makes this a great game!
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice For All (Nintendo DS)Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice For All (Nintendo DS)
Buy used from: £18.44
The sequel to Phoenix Wright didn't have an extra case like the last game, but it doesnt matter as it simply wasn't needed - it's still longer then the first game!
Another Code: Two Memories (Nintendo DS)Another Code: Two Memories (Nintendo DS)
Buy used from: £19.99
Some of the best uses of the DS that you'll se in your lifetime are contained within this game. The only problem is that it's WAAAAAY too short - I completed it in two days........
Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (Nintendo DS)Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (Nintendo DS)
Buy new: £15.34 / Used from: £7.38
.....So the company who made it (CING) clearly tried to make their next game longer, and definitely suceeded! Like Another Code, uses the DS very well.
Mystery Detective (Nintendo DS)Mystery Detective (Nintendo DS)
Buy used from: £14.99
Another point & click game? Yes, another point & click game. Very weird & random storylines, but I'm not saying thats a bad thing!
42 All-Time Classics (Nintendo DS)42 All-Time Classics (Nintendo DS)
Buy new: £16.94 / Used from: £12.99
Plenty of variety, very detailed instructions, and a mission mode makes this a great value game which has something for everyone!
Dr Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? (Nintendo DS)Dr Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? (Nintendo DS)
Buy new: £14.99 / Used from: £7.29
Also quite good value, with plenty of addictive minigames, 100 Sudoku's, and a brain age tester. And it really does make you feel cleverer
More Brain Training (Nintendo DS)More Brain Training (Nintendo DS)
Buy new: £12.99 / Used from: £8.92
Most owners of the original probably wont bother getting this as they think it's all the same, but I beg to differ as I found the minigames in the second one more fun.
Sprung: The Dating Game (Nintendo DS)Sprung: The Dating Game (Nintendo DS)
Buy used from: £3.94
Not many people will probably have heard of this game, and those who have will probably give it a miss as they've heard it has 'no gameplay' I however say that it just has 'different gameplay'
Animal Crossing: Wild World (Nintendo DS)Animal Crossing: Wild World (Nintendo DS)
Buy new: £24.87 / Used from: £12.99
A nice, colourful, simulation game which rights many of the wrongs of the original version on the GameCube.
Tootuff: Mission Nadia (Nintendo DS)Tootuff: Mission Nadia (Nintendo DS)
Buy new: £9.99 / Used from: £9.00
Looks and sounds bad, but really isn't - Has some really good use of the DS.
Alex Rider: Stormbreaker (Nintendo DS)Alex Rider: Stormbreaker (Nintendo DS)
Buy used from: £1.99
Has some good mingames, but unfortunately, they can't save this from what it really is: a way too short and way too easy game.
Yoshi's Island DS (Nintendo DS)Yoshi's Island DS (Nintendo DS)
Buy used from: £13.00
After many failed attempts, nintendo finallly succeed at making a 'proper' sequel to Yoshi's Island on SNES
Project Rub (Nintendo DS)Project Rub (Nintendo DS)
Buy new: £19.56 / Used from: £1.98
A good alternative to Wariowae which uses the DS brilliantly.
Contact (Nintendo DS)Contact (Nintendo DS)
Buy new: £9.98 / Used from: £2.99
Considering the amount of RPG lovers, it's suprising that there's hardly any on the DS. This is one of them, and it rules.
The Rub Rabbits (Nintendo DS)The Rub Rabbits (Nintendo DS)
Buy used from: £3.89
The sequel to Project Rub. Much bigger, and has more uses of the DS.
Elite Beat Agents (Nintendo DS)Elite Beat Agents (Nintendo DS)
Buy new: £14.99 / Used from: £3.39
Tap the screen in time to pop songs. Sounds boring, but is very addictive.
Drawn To Life (Nintendo DS)Drawn To Life (Nintendo DS)
Buy new: £27.99 / Used from: £17.40
Draw your own game. Genius idea, and it works well.
