The Best Comic Book I have read, I just hope that if it ever is adapted it gets a better and more faithful treatment than the other Alan Moore Adaptations.

I was very apprehensive about Frank Miller's follow up to the Dark Knight Returns but of all things he has surpassed his previous masterpiece.

When comparing the adaptation of this to the adaptation of Sin City that is is evident that Miller's style is made for Movies whereas Moore's work is too subtle and intricate for the crossover to film

Although Batman Begins is not a direct adapt there are certain elements they have in common. Both are incredible works and shouldn't be missed.

It would be really good to think that this piece is used as inpiration for the second batman film as Year one was for Batman Begins.

The action is incredibly potent and looses nothing apart from the country soundtrack in transmission to film.

As in Watchmen, which was written in between parts two & three, the tension keeps increassing to a fantastic finally. It's just a shame they had to change so much to modernise the film adaptation.

The book credited for resurecting Batman and leading to the Burton Movie adaptation. A pinacle work.

Yes the film sucked but this is high quality social comment and satire. Where is Volume 2?

A more than faithful follow up to Miller's Year One and Dark Victory is spot one too. Loeb is the best current writer for Batman.
