	Meet The Temptations & Sing Smokey by The Temptations Buy used from: £8.89 First two albums, not their best by a long way, but a good display of their roots.
	Gettin' Ready by the Temptations Buy new: £9.48 / Used from: £5.43 A big improvement- early versions of lonely, lonely man am i and too busy thnking about my baby. Some top hits- get ready and ain't too proud to beg and a special treat in not now i'll tell you later
	The Temptin' Temptations by The Temptations Buy new: £10.29 / Used from: £6.26 A real grower of an album and definately worthwhile- these tracks don't appear on too many compilations. A real gem, and a nice mix of uptempo tracks and ballads- a lost classic.
	With A Lot O' Soul by The Temptations Buy used from: £39.16 This is the pinnacle of all the Temptations albums. There is a darker tone to this album and apart from 2 plodding ballads every track is a corker. Be aware that the 2-fer-1 version is incomplete
	Temptations Live! by The Temptations Buy new: £10.29 / Used from: £6.35 Not the best quality, but the best live album of the tempts- I'm too young to have seen them first hand, but they sound like they were a truly great live group.
	Wish It Would Rain & In A Mellow Mood by The Temptations Buy used from: £39.99 Norman Whitfield's first full album with the tempts- and the group have moved away from the love-struck ballads and towards a slightly more serious tone. Mellow Mood, however is an album to despise.
	Live At The Copa & With A Lot Of Soul by The Temptations Buy new: £6.98 / Used from: £7.00 Just like With a lot o soul, Live at the copa is incomplete on this cd, but the individual cd version is very rare. This is Dennis Edwards taking lead and this shows that he was a perfect replacement
	Cloud Nine & Puzzle People by The Temptations Buy new: £15.48 The first album is from 1969, and alhough the second was released in 70 it was recorded in 69 also. A very different sound, this is a remarkable contrast to their earlier work
	Joined Together: The Complete Studio Duets by Diana Ross & the Supremes Buy new: £12.69 / Used from: £13.60 Hardly essential, but this collects all of the albums and some unreleased tracks. Unfortunately a lot of filler, but there are enough worthwhile tracks to justify getting this one.
	1962 - 68 : You've Got To Earn It - Motown Lost & Found by The Temptations Buy used from: £16.95 Most of the tempt's unreleased tracks from the 60's can be found here. They are also superb, especially We'll be Satisfied, an early version of the lead-swapping style of psychedelic stuff.
	Emperors of Soul by The Temptations Buy new: £67.49 / Used from: £31.72 This has Oh Mother of Mine (also on the single disc meet the tempts, and complete motown singles set) and angel doll (only other cd release is the ultimate collection) and a few other rarities
	The Solo Albums, Volume 1 by David Ruffin Buy new: £12.58 This contains Ruffins first two albums 1969 and two of his 70's albums. Not technically a temptations album but as they say once a tempt always a tempt. This contains some surprisingly strong material
	The Temptations - Get Ready - Definitive Performances 1965 to 1972 [DVD] [2006] by Temptations Buy used from: £8.39 The DVD is also worth purchasing. Some performances are live (way you do the things you do and I wish it would rain) and various interview segments with Otis. Also contains the original vocal tracks.
	The Temptations [DVD] [1998] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] The tempts movie is pretty good, some tracks are sung by the actors, others use the original recordings.
