Another strong album full of excellent material, 'Raincoat & A Rose''Seabird' and the minor hit single 'Diamonds' are standouts for me. (1979).

With it being the early 80's where electronica was everywhere, Chris didnt really fit in, which is why he concentrated on Europe and became huge there first.'Guitar Street' appears here first. (1982)

The summer of '84 was a magical time for me, it was a shame I was unaware of this album. 'Touche D'Amour''Ace Of Hearts' and 'Wired To The Moon' are now firm favourites. (1984).

Going from strength to strength, a big seller across Europe & the UK and remains my personal fave beach cd! 'Its All Gone''On The Beach''Little Blonde Plaits' resonate those summer feelings (1986).

The album that finally saw Chris hit that elusive British No.1 spot, with a powerful observation of the UK's road system and inappropriate news schedules! 'You Must Be Evil' & 'Texas' superb. (1989).

Possibly my 2nd favourite Rea album behind 'On The Beach' is a total cracker! 'Nothing To Fear' is a superb 9 min song with 'Miles Is A Cigarette' & the uplifting 'God's Great Banana Skin' (1992).

A semi-autobiographical story of the Rea family ice cream empire! So a labour of love for Chris with some great songs. 'Girl In A Sports Car''When The Grey Skies Turn To Blue' & 'Only To Fly'. (1996).

A different road to hell, mainly the dark side of the internet with its endless unpoliced material, not really accepted by the Rea fans. 'Marvin' & 'E' are worthy songs, but the rest fall short.(1999)

Standard 'best of' with all the hits that we learn were all blues tunes originally but tinkered with to meet the record company's approval. 'Saudade' the only new song here. (2001).

An album of instrumentals that didnt sit comfortably with me as its 'the voice' im a true fan of, although the music is top notch. It just would have been better with those deep bass tones! (2003).

At last we get a follow up to 'Stony Road' with some classic blues done in Chris's style, 'Long Is The Time, Hard Is The Road''Steel River Blues' & 'Somebody Say Amen' stand out for me. (2004)

Must admit to not having this just yet, but on the surface of it looks like another ambitous release, the vinyl would remain unplayed as I havnt had a turntable for years! (2007)
