	There Will Be Blood (2 disc Special Edition) [DVD] [2007] Buy new: £6.18 / Used from: £2.35 Yes the ending is a bit melodramatic and PTA does have trouble keeping Daniel Day Lewis' performance under control at time but this is one you will find yourself watching time and time again.
	Gomorrah [DVD] [2008] Buy new: £6.98 / Used from: £5.00 One of the most dry unforgiving gangster films you will ever see, as far from 'The Godfather' as you could get.
	The Dark Knight (2 Discs) [DVD] [2008] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £3.50 If 'The Wire' was a superhero movie, this would be it. Makes all that came before it look laughable in comparison.
	WALL-E (2 Disc Special Edition) [DVD] [2008] Buy new: £7.48 / Used from: £6.95 A childrens film not just with a message but no dialogue for almost a full hour? That takes balls.
	4 Months, 3 Weeks And 2 Days [2007] [DVD] Buy new: £4.48 / Used from: £3.00 Sparse editing and an unforgiving camera make this one of the most tense and unsettling films you'll see
	Waltz with Bashir [DVD] [2008] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £3.76 A film that's success is in raising your interest in the Sabra and Shatila massacre, as opposed to being particularly involved with the film itself, it is never the less and intriguing concept.
	Persepolis [2008] [DVD] Buy new: £4.78 / Used from: £4.50 The same as above, although regarding the Iranian revolution.
	No Country For Old Men [DVD] [2007] Buy new: £2.98 / Used from: £2.94 The cinematography, the performances, the pacing, the violence. This really was very good.
