Garth Nix's best work in my opinion, although I havn't read Shades Children. Incredibly gripping so by the set! it's cheap and well worth it

The second book in the Black Magician trilogy. Still following Sonea its better than the first, getting more into the main storyline

Along with the rest of The Keys to the Kingdom. For younger readers than The Old Kingdom by Nix, but still a good read and with a set of seven it can keep you occupied for a while

A good book following Maximum Ride and her 'flock' a winged set of escapees from the dreaded School. Not as bad as it sounds, the book is really entertaining, an enjoyable read

The first in the Discworld series, an exceptional set of books from Terry Pratchett. Read any of them, they're all great!

A hilarious teaming up of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, containing both's views on human nature and humour. Definitly Recommended

Pff, I'll put this in because it definitly is JK's best, along with her 6th one. I'm sure most will have read it, so there's not much point putting it in, but it is a good book

Borrowed this from my sister on holdiay. Very original and entertaining: at first i compared to Equilibirum but when i finished it seems to be completely new. Has alot to do with the power of stories.

Everyone must have heard of this. Great books. Also read Salmon of Doubt. Not much of a story due to his death, but his short stories and intro's make me wish I'd met him or just heard of him sooner
