David Lynch is ace. He's an odd little man, who makes odd little films that are hard to understand. This is one of his more coherent films so it's a good place to start I guess. And it's a great film.

A brilliant film for action, horror, coolness, shocks. Just a brilliant film, Park Chan-Wook is such a brilliant visionary, the other two films are great as well, but this is the fave.

I think this is one of the few films that does the book it's based on justice. The direction really brings out the pitch-black humour, and Christian Bale is absolutely phenomenal.

House of 1000 Corpses was a sort of an irrellevant little Horror-show fan-boy tribute, not bad, but just no point. This however, is a mature, cool, dare-I-say-it, intelligent film. Nasty stuff though.
