	Children Of Men (2-disc Special Edition) [DVD] [2006] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £0.98 Flabbergasted by the poor user reviews of this; the best dystopic sci-fi film in many,many years. Awesome cinematography, production design, & performances.
	The Dark Knight (2 Discs) [DVD] [2008] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £3.95 Watched this so many times and still enjoy nearly every frame; no it's not perfect, but it is very good indeed.
	Pan's Labyrinth [DVD] [2006] Buy new: £4.28 / Used from: £3.00 Immaculate fantasy by a visionary director. Wonderful, if a little brutal at times.
	Spirited Away [DVD] Buy new: £6.78 / Used from: £4.90 Glorious animation that's definitely not just for kids; magical and transporting.
	I'm Not Scared [DVD] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £2.27 Beautifully shot childhood nostalgia with an excellent thriller plot, set in rolling southern Italian countryside.
	Kiss Kiss Bang Bang [DVD] [2005] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £0.01 Astoundingly funny film noir pastiche / homage, with some killer lines by Downey Jr but even more from Val Kilmer.
	Brick [DVD] [2006] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £1.39 Another film noir pastiche / homage, this time set in the school yard; some awesomely contrived dialogue, and great performances.
	The Incredibles (2-disc Collector's Edition) [DVD] [2004] Buy new: £5.88 / Used from: £3.89 Pixar's best film for grown-ups, this is basically a rewrite of the Watchmen graphic novel, only less brutal and much more affable.
	Waking Life [DVD] [2002] Buy new: £4.88 / Used from: £3.49 Faintly pompous philosophising rendered so beautifully with surreal animation as to make it compelling; a visual treat.
	Little Miss Sunshine [DVD] [2006] Buy new: £4.68 / Used from: £0.98 Just a gorgeous, character-driven family comedy. The finale makes me laugh and cry simultaneously, for different reasons.
	WALL-E (2 Disc Special Edition) [DVD] [2008] Buy new: £7.68 / Used from: £6.44 Not quite the total triumph I'd hoped for, but beguiling nonetheless; some awesome animated cinematography.
	Zodiac [DVD] [2007] Buy new: £3.88 / Used from: £0.97 Fincher's most thoughtful, character-based film so far, and demonstrating real maturity in his direction. A compelling thriller.
	Brotherhood Of The Wolf [DVD] [2001] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.99 Ridiculous librty-taking historical ninja werewolf fun.
	28 Days Later ... [DVD] [2002] Buy new: £3.78 / Used from: £0.01 Modern zombie fun; excellent reinvention of an idea.
	Blindness [DVD] [2008] Buy new: £5.78 / Used from: £2.90 Undervalued allegorical treat,with some terrific directorial decisions. Harsh, but worth it.
