Packed with extras this is an absolute gem. Many people's number one Xmas movie and I know why. Alistair Sim is fantastic and the black and white film is atmospheric. MANY great extras on this DVD.

John Hughes' absolute classic. One to watch again and again. The film that influenced a whole generation of exterior illuminators! Clark W Griswold Jnr! A great film we watch every year without fail.

Another John Hughes gem that has to be watched each year. Culkin and Pesci are great with their Tom & Jerry-style violence. Kids love it.

Good movie starring Tim Allen. At Xmas we tend to get the usual rubbish churned out which for me began with Jingle All The Way. But this is a pretty good movie.

Really enjoyed this movie. Unreal extremes with the lights on De Vito's house. Broderick is cool. Entertaining.

Fantastic short, classic cartoon by Raymond Briggs (When The Wind Blows). A visual treat for kids and adults alike.

I.M.O. The best ghost story EVER (along with A Christmas Carol). What Christmas would be complete without a spine chiller by the fireside?

The original stalk and slash movie that started it all off. Again, clear the pallate with a cool horror film! Late at night...lights out...warming fire...a Yuletide libation.....ahhhhh

Everyone likes the muppets don't they? It's another take on the classic tale. Many people's favourite I understand? Enjoyable, with Michael Caine as Scrooge.

For those who like images and sounds of Christmas. Crackling fires, seasonal fayre, snow, Santa. Also check out "A Traditional Christmas".

What can you say? Classic. By the way, after the Top 5 in my list these are in no particular order...Just favourites.

The Christmas Special of Alan Partridge. A superb character from Iannucci, Marber and Schneider. And, of course, the brilliant Steve Coogan. Funny.
