.....made a perfectly fine film....but its a hollywood blockbuster - its just not clever. Will Smith is good but it'll be disapointing if you liked the book....

...none of which really work in the film - what's clever in the book seems a little tacky in the film, plus the book's ending is MUCH better than the film's. Maybe the next will be better?

...made into the usual Eddie Murphy vehicle - I'm pretty sure Dr Dolittle didn't think fart jokes were funny (The original film on the other hand...genius!)

....a slightly random, empty film - very strange ''fashion show'' sequence . Does have its good bits though
