E4G - Excellent!
I am delighted with these earphones as the sound quality is superb. They come with different ear fittings and it takes a little time to find the most suitable but with a little patience you will reap the rewards. I phoned Shure customer services to find out what the difference between the E4N, E4C and the E4G. They advised that the letters 'N' denotes black and 'C' denotes white, the E4G (black) represents the gaming version and has a 5" shorter lead than the other two versions. The E4G also provides a set of black ear loops whilst the E4C and E4N does not. The foam ear pieces arrived a bit squashed so I phoned Shure customer services and they sent two new sets free (their customer services is excellent). I bought the E4G's from Amazon for a good price. If you are looking for in-ear headphones, I would definitely recommend these as Shure products are industry standard. I also own Bose Quietcomfort2 and Sennheiser PX250 headphones but in my opinion Shure provide the best sound quality.

AMAZING!
at first when u use them they feel slighly uncomfortable but then u get used to them and then realise how much of your music your were missing. ive never had anything against the ipod earbuds but when u compare its the little parts of sound like when up the quality to 320kbps, u can hear coldplay setting up for 'the scientist'. it sounds so small but they also come with a great mini zip-up carrier and impressive build quality add in the noise isolation technology, and you have probably the best pair of headphones in the world but are only about half the size of a pen lid! mine were also a steal as i got from amazon marketplace for just over £100 as an american import!

truly great sound!
Ok I will start with the negatives first to get them out the way: Your ears have to be very very very clean and dry and i mean cleaned moments before you put them in as they will fall out easily and you will struggle to get the correct fit to get the great sound these headphones are more then capable of!
Ok I have just put on my old sony midrange headphones after about 5 months of these Shure E4Cs and well they just sound crap now, when i used to think they sounded great, and they were not to cheap either, at £70!
When i received my E4s and i put them on for the first time i was basically astonished by the bass, it was so warm and accurate, it did not over cloud the rest of the music, instead it complimented every note, no matter what type of music i threw at them, they just wanted more, as did I! I gave them rock like metallica, GnR, i gave them Blues such as Joe Bonamassa, I gave them RnB such as JE, 112, Ciera, classical such as Mozart and Beethoven, Rap like 2pac, 50 cent, Dre. etc. anyway they handled it all and i heard so much more than i would have in other headphones. They deliver the sound you get from a good set of separates and great speakers, (i have some missions, they are great to)
All I can suggest is get them! or their big brothers such as the se530s if you have the money! If i did i would!
