a bargain!
These headphones are really good value. Although I am still 'breaking them in', the improvement in sound quality over my previous pair is already apparent: not only is the sound 'fuller' than with my old headphones, but I am hearing nuances in the music that my old pair just didn't pick up. They fit snugly in my ears and don't have to be rammed into the ear to get a good sound, and the cable is long enough for me to be able to keep my mp3 player in my coat pocket as I'm walking. Sound quality is very important to me and these headphones certainly deliver the goods.
rubbish
i have only had these earphones for less than 8 months and they are already useless as one of the earphones has stopped working.
Disappointment
For a company with a well deserved reputation for serious audio equipment I was disappointed to find that these headphones followed the trend for thumping bass where it was not wanted. I'd thought with Sennheiser I'd be getting a pair of headphones that would be up to the heavy stuff when asked but sophisticated enough to handle more subtle tunes as well, what I got was bass thump over everything. If that's what you like these are well made pieces as you would expect, especially for the price, but if your musical taste has any subtlety you like I will have to keep looking.
