A cheap option that doesnt produce cheap results
I bought this switch box to use for both my Sky HD and PS3 as my TV only has one HDMI socket.

As the signal is digital, I knew there would be no degrading of the signal, but was still mightily impressed by the picture quality displayed on my HD TV.

As there is no switch on the splitter, it 'auto senses' the signal, giving priority to channel 1. Therefore, advice I would give is to insert your Sky HD (or equivalent) HDMI cable into port 2, and your games console HDMI into port 1. This is so that when the console is turned on, it will automatically swith to disply on TV, and once the console is turned off, your TV is displayed as before.

I can't give this cheap item any better praise, dont let the cheap price put you off, it is a high uality item.

Excellent HDMI splitter
It works exactly how you think it would. It switches between two HDMI sources with one channel as the master if they are both on at the same time.

It is extremely cheap and works a treat, I couldn't recommend it more.

Bought this as cheap way of switching from ps3 to sky hd without having to get up and swap cables.
Works perfectly.This is a push button model with no remote,but for the price, it's a steal.
