DO NOT BUY!!!!!
Hi,

I bought the Griffin Smarttalk headphone adapter a few months ago. I was very happy cos I could use my Sennheiser in-ear headphones with my iPhone. However, the adapter stopped working in one ear after 3 weeks... it would only work when the plug (iphone end) was held at an insane angle... otherwise there would not be proper contact and I would end up hearing in one ear only! :(

I sent it back to the seller and got a replacement in a week's time. The replacement piece also stopped working in 2 weeks - same problem!!!

The product has not been put through enough wear'n'tear tests. The quality is awfull!

I would strongly suggest users to NOT buy this product!!!

planned obsolescence
I have bought two different Griffin adaptor products before (this being one of them) and both have broken within a couple of months. Please don't waste your money on this.

Had a good search around the internet for all the different headset / earphones / mic you can get and settled on this adapter and the sennheiser cx300 earphones. I'm no audiophile but what I do know is that its a good setup. My only slight complaint would be about the type of cord / wire, its a fabric woven outer as oppose to rubber.
