very good, but....
This album picked up most of my fav's from the 80's, but Amazon seem to have got some of the track listing wrong, for example there is no Heaven 17 - Temptation, which was a bit of shame. Great Album never the less for all die hard 80's fans.

A great selection of songs from the greatest period in music
This first volume contains some brilliant songs. If, like me, you were born at the start of the 80's, you probably wont remember half the songs on here and you might not like all you hear, but I found one or two excellent songs that made me really pleased I bought these CDs. If you remember the 80's well, this is for you. I'd definitely recommend getting all 3 volumes if you can.

there is no better 80s compilation
there is no better 80s cd. period. i actually taught i was dreaming when i saw all these artists on the same boxset, and top quality songs to back em up, of course we all have favourites of the artists we would like to switch around and play with but as a radio presenter i have to say that this is the THE most comprehensive way of getting quality 80s hits together without making your own personal playlist on itunes...and even then...it would still be personal taste...whereas this box set ensures that the people who come to your party/listen to ur musical taste...will have nothing but praise for you
