Customer Reviews
A real bargain for music lovers.
I used to DJ - lots. I originally paid out £170 for my professional headphones (which were also manufactured by Seinnheiser.)
I needed a pair of headphones for my home stereo, but didn't want to pay out anymore than forty quid. I checked out these headphones along with a few others, such as Technics / Panasonic, Aiwa blah blah blah.....
For the £40 set of Technics, these Seinnheisers beat them hand down - at half the price. Amazon have them for £19.99, but I actually bought them new through Amazon Marketplace, for £17.49 including postage!!! An absolute steal.
The sounds are crystal clear. The bass is deep and rich. They are comfortable for long periods of listening. (I fell asleep with them on the other night!) They also go pretty loud without distortion. The cord is also long enough, and comes with a cheap and cheerful cable tidy.
I wouldn't say these are suitable for heavy DJ / club use, but I would easily recommend them for a bedroom DJ. Don't waste your hard earned cash on some tarted up Ministry of Sound headphones - get these and buy more tunes with your saved moolah!
On top of everything - they have a two year guarantee!
All this greatness for £20. You'd be daft not to buy these!
Good Price
These headphones are very good, but certain portable media players are not powerful enough to make the most out of them. Therefore, I would like to warn people that although these headphones sound great and have a very high dynamic range, they require a piece of equipment that has a fairly high output. Sound quality-wise, my brother uses them for mixing in a professional studio. Enough said. One more thing, if you have a large set of ears, don't get these. They will hurt after less than an hour's listening.
People often say you get what you pay for......
... and I can say, they are talking rubbish.
Suprising, as this may sound, I have to say that these headphones are not what you pay for. You really should be paying around £50 for something of this quality!!!!
Low, mid and high range all sound great. Don't know what one of the other reviewers meant by "cheap" feeling. The padding is very comfortable, and they feel quite well made. Highly recommended.
