Manufacturer's Description
The Bike Mount has been designed to allow the Active 10 to be fitted to bikes for every sport, from mountain biking to cycle touring. It is comprised of two parts: the bike mount itself and a new battery cover for the Active 10 that has the bike mounting fitting moulded directly onto it, allowing the Active 10 to be fitted onto the mount without the need for a cumbersome cradle. Full instructions show how the mount can be attached to the handlebars, the stem or the crossbar by simply rotating the direction of the head.
Customer Reviews
Rock solid on the Bike
I've been using this for about 3 months now and it works perfectly.
The satmap sits quite high on top of the mount though, but the mount is really secure. I ride mainly offroad and the mount hasn't budged a millimeter in all that time.
An essential piece of kit for any mountain biker with a satmap. Theres no other option so its a good thing this works perfectly.
Satmap bike mount
Well designed and easy to fit. RRP seems excessive Holds the unit securely over any terrain, rough or smooth. Strap length seems excessive but easily trimmed and resealed.
Satmap Cycle mount
Essential bit of kit for using this GPS on a bike. Doesn't look much bit clamps tight and stays put.
It managed to survive me going straight over the front and burying the GPS in the dirt. Only thing that happened was the bottom clip of the cycle mount back cover came out. Amazingly the plastic must be flexible enough not to break off.
