Customer Reviews

Almost hooked4
Returning to bass fishing after twenty years or more I found this a very valuable source to update my knowledge. Well and sensibly written without an excess of the hype that clutters most current fishing books.
Provides excellent well presented information that I have been able to put into practice.
Well worth the money for anyone who fishes for bass but is not yet an expert (or will admit it!)

Worth every penny4
I have recently turned to fishing for bass from the shore with some success. This book was an enjoyable read and will help me to find new hot spots and hopefully catch a lot more. It was especially helpfull in its description of bass holding areas on shallow rocky shores, how they behave and different methods of catching them. This will all be so usefull as the area I fish is not known as a bass area so very little fishing is done for them and there are few if any known hot spots.

Deservedly called 'The Bass Fisherman's Bible'.5
This book succeeds where others fail is it concentrates on a single subject, Shore fishing for Sea Bass as opposed to attempting to cover the wider and more general area of Sea Fishing. Well written and illustrated with the authority earned by their qualifications and immense experience of this subject.
Concise detail of all aspects relating to habitat, best conditions, venues and methods employed to catch this King of our shore. Their love of and dedication to the sport shines through in every paragraph.
Fishermens tales, without exageration, that hold you to the pages. Logical thinking and years of experience imparted in a manner that cannot fail to leave you more learned and understanding of this great Fish.
One book I'll be reluctant to lend out because of its value.
