bass fishing????!!!!1
honestly how do people get away with it?! this dvd is a sham! it starts off plugging guernsey big time so that liam dales free hotel and ferry ride are taken care off, then he starts plugging all the tackle what he is using, then theres the weight jokes! When they go on the boat the only person who catches any bass is the skipper who gets 3 or 4, the rest of the crew (4) catch pollack, cuttlefish and a solitary turbot. The camara work and sound recording is bad, the only person you can hear is liam dale, when someone else is talking you cant hear them- just like a homevideo. This isn t the worst fishing dvd i have seen, check out liam dales guide to charter boat fishing, 10 times worse, salute liam dale the alan partridge of presenters.

Hear Hear!1
If only I had read the above review before renting this dvd...thankfully I only rented it! The product placement was brazen and pretty shocking, the fishing was pretty poor - wait for this: They didn't actually catch any decent bass! A fishing video where they don't catch anything? That really is taking the mick. This video was a chance for Liam Dale to have a free day out in the boat and a stay at the hotel with free tackle, and is just a load of his musings and rubbish jokes with his dopey mates! Shocking!

A waste of everyone's time1
The first ten minutes are a promo for Guernsey and the rest is a home video of a few mates on a day trip.
There's no attempt to show any techniques, rigs, tackle . . nothing to learn at all. A complete waste of time.
I've never written a review on Amazon before but really felt I should warn people off this DVD.
If you want to watch a few people on a boat fishing for bass and (mostly) catching pollack, this is the video for you. If you want to learn something don't touch it with a barge pole.
