DVD Description
Experience a magical journey of discovery as three children race against time to stop a group of greedy Arctic oil prospectors from accidentally blowing up Santa Claus! The children’s father, Michael – also the prospectors’ head geologist – is under pressure from his boss to strike it big before Christmas. In a desperate bid to save his job, he begins blasting with dynamite, but unknowingly, also starts to cause damage to North Pole City – the fantastical home of Santa Claus (Art Carney) and his army of toy-making elves! Only the children, with the help of Chief Elf, Ed, can convince their sceptical father to stop the blasting by proving Santa Claus really exists – and save Christmas once and for all!

Great film for kids and adults!
The Night They Saved Christmas is an excellent Christmas film for all ages. The storyline is about a young boy trying to get his parents to believe that Santa really is real and that his dad's company is putting Christmas in danger.
I always remember thinking that if the directors of 'Santa Claus The Movie' has loaned out their Santa Claus, then this would have been the perfect film! Sadly, in The Night They Saved Christmas, neither the Santa nor his workshop was as fabulous or magical as it could've been, but it's still a good family flick!

A great movie for Christmas Eve
This movie is a very nice one and will give you a Christmas feeling. The story is a fantasie......and that is also the power of it. Not heavy, just a very nice story for childeren and parents.
