Still going...
I have always been Steve Martin fan, but it's been really many years since I last saw these films. Before viewing, maybe in my mind they were a bit more faster paced, but I guess this is what the current times do to you - everything cut like a music video. Anyway, I must say time treated these films well. Housesitter is more to adult taste I believe, sometimes almost tragicomic way it keeps you in grip, Goldie especially being brilliant in her role of lonely woman seeking her share of home, family and happiness. Parenthood is maybe a film with cliches and stereotypes, but still, hilarious quite often. Roxanne was the reason I bought this package. Maybe partly because of expectations, I got a bit irritated with certain scenes, especially at the beginning, but later the witty language took me along. Still, I have to say that if you have seen, or are going to see this film, you should not miss the original "Cyrano de Bergerac" with Gerard Depardieu, the film Roxanne was based on.
