Review
From the reviews of previous editions:–

"This book is exactly what was needed. It is aimed at a wide audience – not only clinical oncologists but also physicians, surgeons, gynaecologists, general practitioners and even medical students. All in all this book is destined to become a classic." The Lancet

"Each [chapter] is well up–to–date and a model of clarity, and one of the most outstanding, Supportive Care and Symptom Relief, should be compulsory reading for all would–be cancer specialists. The authors′ discussion of controversial topics, such as adjuvant therapy and combined modality treatment, is excellent." British Medical Journal

"...for those of us bedevilled by increasing subspecialisation and in need of regular refreshers in the management of cancers they are not longer seeing regularly, this book is ideal. It is well written by authors recognised for their articulacy." Clinical Oncology

"This book describes state–of–the–art diagnosis and management of the full gamut of malignancies, system by system, in a clear, concise and readable manner which stresses the multidisciplinary approach." British Journal of Surgery
