Manufacturer's Description
Daewoo's newly released PVR, the DSD9502T, allows you to record up to 40 hours of programmes on to its 80GB HDD.

The product features a Twin Digital Tuner, which allows you to record 2 different channels whilst watching a pre-recorded programme from the PVR, a terrestrial show or if you have an IDTV another Digital Channel. This is unlike most PVR's in the market currently, which only allow you to record one channel and watch one other.

The DSD9502T comes with picture in picture (PIP) so you can view 2 channels simultaneously; with instant swapping between the main and sub channel, unlimited timer recorder via the EPG (Electronic Programme Guide), Subtitle Recording and Live Pause.

Users will be surprised at the simple to use and easy to understand menu system. And as a digital receiver consumers will benefit from over 30 Freeview channels which currently include, SKY Sports News, E4, More 4, Film4, BBC3, BBC4, The Hits, ITV2 and ITV3 to name just a few.

A Watershed function automatically protects any recording made after the watershed so a pin needs to be entered in order to watch the recording.

    Dont buy this1
Weve had this product fot six months. When it does work its fine. But it often crashes and has to be turned off and on in order for it to reinitialise the hard drive. I wouldnt recommend this.

Great bit of kit but you pay for what you get!4
Been using this for 10 months and it is a great bit of kit for the price. Only draw back is the image can be a bit soft and lacks sharpness, but i've been able to live with this. The ability to record subtitles has been the best feature.

    Excellent Buy5
Bought this the day before going on holiday in October. It was set up within 30 mins with no problems - and recorded all my favourite programs during the 2 weeks. It was just so easy. Have not encountered any of the problems other reviewers have mentioned. Have to say it was not bought from Amazon - much cheaper elsewhere!
