Good value
I think this case is good value (I bought mine for £6.80 + £4.50 p&p.). It looks smart and protects well.


It's a fairly tight squeeze to get the iPod in - which strongly discourages me from taking it out and charging it on my dock - but the data cable and headphones access are fine. The thin strips of leather on each side of the screen warp outwards because of the tight fit, which some people might care about. And I can only see half of the play/pause and battery icons at the top of the screen unless I tip the iPod back.

You couldn't use it to protect from rain because the top is completely open. The bank card-shaped slit is a useful addition but you wouldn't fit many cards in it (or over-size cards).

I think the popper is magnetic, which means you don't have to push too hard to close the case (and risk damaging the iPod).


Anyway, I now throw my iPod into the bottom of my rucksack, or keep it in pockets with keys, without too much worry. The case hasn't marked or scratched at all after a month of use.

Great but Flawed
I owned this case until very recently when my iPod was stolen along with it. I am now in the market for a case for my new iPod and this would have been a sure buy if not for one huge flaw. It is a five star case, all the holes are perfectly positioned and you never need to take the iPod out, but there is no belt clip so it has to go in my pocket with my wallet, phone, etc. It's just a shame that there isn't a nice slim clip attached on the back as this would make it the ideal case.

However, If you're looking for a good iPod case and you're not worried abotu a belt clip, buy this one right now, it's a bargain and a great piece of kit.
