    Useless or a dud1
This is the second USB Digital receiver I've tried. However, unlike my first one, the Creative DVB-T Tuner which did pick up a few channels, this KWorld picked up Zero. I was also using an external hi-gain ariel! It could be a rubbish piece of kit or a dud one (which is not Amazon's fault)but I've given up on USB TV.

    Surprisingly Good4
I bought this after I saw it at a good price and after getting a vista laptop, which my original TV stick hated. Was a bit nervous about getting another as my previous Freecom one hadn't been excellent, but in the end I bought another one. This one is fantastic, with the supplied aerial strategically positioned, I get a strong signal- never mind when I use an external aerial. I actually, improved my signal quality, by adding a bit of metal to the bottom of the aerial, it is magnetic, and it seems to help in troublesome locations. The bundled software is good, the recording works well, and I'm happy with that- mini Sky + on the cheap!

One or two issues. EPG is not the greatest, only tells you what is coming on, rather than what is on now. It's also hard to adjust to channels, as they are listed in a strange order, rather than the LCN (local channel number) that freeview boxes use. Loose 1 star for that.

But all in all, very impressive, well done K world.

    Works for me!5
What's the worst that can happen? I waste £18.
What's the best that can happen? For £18 I turn my PC into a perfectly good PVR.
So I took the plunge, having recently changed to Vista (a whole different kettle of review stars) and this has been one of the successes for me. Spent some time hunting down Vista drivers, but then plugged it in and off went Windows, downloading latest drivers, setting up Windows Media Center (sic), immediate Freeview, 2 week guide, scheduled records all working splendidly, with no frustration on my part. I don't live in a great reception area, but external aerial works well.
I can't comment on bundled aerial or software, I've not tried them.
It has no remote control, but how lazy do you need to be? (Or buy a WMC remote for £7 elsewhere)
No regrets for me, well worth it.
