Product Description

Dr Perricone offers a diet plan that keeps wrinkles at bay, and helps you lose weight and have gorgeous skin. Now you can use the power of food to follow the diet many celebrities have been mad about, reportedly including J-Lo, Julia Roberts and Heidi Klum. The book shows you how to counteract wrinkles and other signs of premature ageing by directly reducing skin-level inflammation with a special diet high in omega oils (the famous salmon part of the diet) and other nutritional wonder-foods including tuna, turkey, olive oil, nuts, fresh fruit, herbs and veggies. And you lose unwanted kilos as well. This practical and informative book includes a seven-step, 28-day plan that kicks off with the Three-Day Nutritional Facelift. It provides a detailed daily prescription of what to eat and drink, with an exercise for the day.

Customer Reviews

I must admit that I was skeptical about this....5
But started to do the plan with an open mind. I stuck to the 3 day plan religiously. By Day 2 I hadnt really noticed any change to my skin. I had lost 5 pounds however, but weight loss must be seen as the by product rather than the reason for doing this plan.
However, I woke up on day 3 and my whole body felt like silk. I had been swimming the day before which usually leaves my skin quite dry. But the skin on my face looked very creamy and healthy and the psorisis patchs on my elbows had completely disapeered.
The 3 day plan is very delicious. It involves 'feeding your face' with oily fish, cantalope and various other fruit and veg. This is no Atkins plan. There is no 'unlimited' amounts of anything - which i prefer as this sort of eating encourages glutony, the cause of being overweight.
I will continue with the 28 day part of the plan but this is a very easy diet to follow. And the results are more than just a needle on the scales moving downwards.
