Simply the worst vacuum we have ever owned
For a start it comes partially assembled, and you have to finish the job. On the plus side it sucks harder than a jet engine. On the downside, it is louder than a jet engine. The plastic is cheap, the mains lead is short, cheap and inflexible, the machine weighs a ton, and the wheels on the bottom have a mind of their own. The supplied pet hair nozzle packed up after a few weeks. I will never buy a Vax again, this has completely destroyed my faith in their products. If I could give this zero stars then I would.

Exceptionally Poor
This is an exceptionally poor hoover. The switch failed after a couple of months on ours and the unit was replaced. But after 16 months (from the original purchase date) the switch failed again, this time igniting the hoover. Vax refused to replace the machine or to give any kind of refund. Would I ever purchase anything made by Vax in the future? Of course not, and I advise you not to as well.

powerful but noisy
Extremely powerful, really clears up all the dog hairs and dust, but very, very, noisy - I am surprised that the manufacturer does not supply ear defenders! it really is that loud!
