Great all-round cleaner, however...
Replaced our old Dyson (overated) with this model from Vax. This is a great all-round cleaner, losing no suction when on the hose/tool attachment (unlike the dyson which i always found to be poor in that respect). Vaccuumed our carpet with our old cleaner then used the vax and was amazed at all the extra dirt/fluff etc that was picked up.
Now for the however...the down side is the weight, quite a heavy cleaner, making carrying it up and down the stairs excercise in itself!

I love this vacuum cleaner
I hated the chore of vacuuming our home with our small compact cleaner. It was a nightmare and although it was bagless it still lost suction.

I had had enough and I decided to invest in a new one. I went to the high street store, who were very helpful, and they demonstrated loads for me and let me have a go. I have a bad back so I had to be careful it was not too hard to push.

I could not see a difference between this and the dyson apart from the £150 price difference, so I went for the cheaper one.

It is amazing, it takes me 5 mins to do my living room that used to take me twenty and it is so easy to empty. Even my other half wanted a go so it cant be bad if it means I don't even have to do it any more.

I would really recommend this product to anyone.

Great Product!
We have gone for this vacuum as we've been using Vax products for years and have found them to be of very good quality and they get the job done, this is no exception.

Instruction Manual: The instruction manual takes you through the whole process from assembly to cleaning step by step with clear instruction and diagrams.

Assembly: Very easy to assemble, all you have to do is attach the extension wand (the handle) on the main unit and attach the hose to the back of it.

Weight: From a guys perspective it's not heavy in the slightest, especially when in use as it glides across the carpet with ease.

Power: Very powerful, picks up all dirt and grooms the carpet and the motor isn't very loud. I was surprised at how powerful the extension wand is, wasn't expecting it to have that much suction but I it does and the turbo tool is a great for pet hairs on upholstery and cleaning the stairs.

It's great having a vacuum that you need to purchase bags and filters for, the filters themselves are very good (HEPA) and there isn't dust lingering in the air after I've vacuumed as I have seen with other cleaners. The canister is very big so you wont need to empty it often and the quick realise button means you don't have to go anywhere near the dirt.

This is a great product, it just goes to show that you can get a great vacuum with all the bells and whistles and not have to spend loads of money in the process.
