A hidden gem
Anyone who's a fan of The Broken Family Band will be aware of the genius of Steven Adams. If you're not familiar with that band, check out the rave reviews & buy their CDs.
This solo album features Adams & a few friends taking a slightly more folky route than TBFB but still retaining the memorable tunes & funny lyrics.
This music will not be everyone's cup of tea. TBFB have probably sold less records than their talent deserves due to them being bracketed as a country band. But if you leave your prejudices behind & can cope with a bit of banjo twanging, you'll fall for the charms of this great album.
