Gerdi Quist is a lecturer in Dutch at University College, London. Dennis Strik is a part-time lecturer in Dutch at the University of Kent. They are both native Dutch speakers.

A useful addition to Teach Yourself Dutch
This book really is a useful addition to Teach Yourself Dutch. It goes into most of the grammar points in TYD in more detail, so that if you were not so sure about something in TYD then this book includes more detail, examples and what is really useful are the many exercises to make sure you grasp the points correctly. It is also worth buying because it includes 'extras' about speech such as style, including strong language, interjections and differences between informal and formal. Obviously these are extremely helpful if you want to sound more native.

very good book
This book explains difficult grammar concepts in a really clear and easy way.
It is ideal to use alongside Teach Yourself Dutch or another course. There are lots of exercises to help you learn. I would say it is the best of the Dutch grammar books on the market.

Teach Yourself Dutch Grammar is a very well-written and easy to understand edition. It is helpful both for absolute beginners and people already familiar with the language.
