Excellent
A very good book on the history of the Vespa. Especially the catalogue at the end with an overview of all the diffrent Vespa models with extensive info on each model. The book lacks some of the export models however, like the German "Touring" and the Swedish "Popolino". The information on the engine development could be more extensive. But these are minor flaws on an altogheter excellent book. The picture material is very extensive. The book could do with more explanatory remarks teamed with each picture.
Massive content, quality and value
A definitive review of the first 60 years of the Pontedera firm's most famous export. Some of the models have differing descriptions, for example there is no mention of the 'Sportique' though all variants of the period are included by chassis prefixes. Seems expensive but well worth it, something to refer back to especially when looking for a used example to ride or restore.
