Customer Reviews

'Europe's last undiscovered city.' Martin Bell4
Sarajevo is a beautiful city yet still little known. This pocket size, inexpensive, little guide gives almost everything a first time visitor needs to know. Written by a long time resident of Sarajevo, who has authored more comprehensive guides, it promises to be accurate and practical with some useful photographs, though a few are of 'travel agent' perfect scenes. In its various sections the guide aludes to Sarajevo's multiculturalism but it would be useful to have one of Sarajevo's main attactions - the meeting of east and west - highlighted early on.

An excellent guide5
Although slim, this book had everything I needed to get the best from a few days in Sarajevo. The author has lived there for several years, and that shows in the very good recommendations for places to eat and stay. Some pocket-sized guides are necessarily very selective, but Sarajevo is not a big city - this little book really does have all you need.
