Synopsis
In July 2002, Fatboy Slim staged a huge free gig on Brighton beach. Big Beach Boutique II was Fatboy Slim's attempt to give something back to Brighton, the town in which he has lived for some time but when more then 250000 people, massively exceeding expectations, swarmed into the town, chaos ensued. This disc concentrates on the music itself from Tim Deluxe's opening set through to Fatboy Slim's rousing finale.

When Brighton truely rocked.....5
This is how this event should be remembered for those who went and how it should be experienced by those that didn't have the chance. It is much better than the CD and plays the gig as it was whereas the CD changes the playing order and misses out some awesome tracks. It is brilliantly put together and has a very live feeling about it but also has some good effects added in which add to the experience and makes it seem all the more slick.

This event was one of those things you tell your mates about and are proud to say 'I was there'. the atmosphere was amazing and watching this DVD will take you right back there! It has a nice commentary feature where Norman Cook tells all about how he was feeling, how the gig nearly got shut down by the police 5 minutes before he went on and a whole load of other stuff. if you like big party anthems mixed up and tampered with in true Fatboy Slim style then you'll love this DVD, the tune selection is brilliant and there are some real classics that pop up, you can do nothing but grin!

A good thing to watch during our long cold winters and smile to yourself safe in the knowledge that summer is on it's way!

For all who like to have a good time5
This DVD is constantly playing on my DVD player. The combination is amazing. Norman Cook gave the performance of a lifetime and the tracks keep you dancing all through. He did it again! The scenery is great and just the look of the dj and the people having fun is enough to keep you smiling for the rest of the day.

Much better dan the CD Album!5
After buying the cd album i felt a bit cheated because it was a very edited version. So i bought the DVD and it is much better! It contains the whole concert and Norman Cook's live performance is Great! You can choose between DD5.1, DD2.0 of DTS sound for the "concert" and there are some funny games and a long interview with Norman. I give 5 stars because this is (with the Underworld DVD) the best "Dance" DVD on the market.
