Essential for those new to caravans
We bought our first caravan last year and were given a one hour commissioning demonstration at handover. One day later, at our first site, we wished we had videoed the presentation because we had absorbed so little of all the nitty gritty. To the rescue came this book.
The advice is thorough and well illustrated and it has proved so useful so many times. In particular the section on sanitary items was brilliant - reading about it all is so much delectable than having it verbally explained.
We are amused by one photo which shows the towing car backing up to the van - the woman is holding her hands about a yard apart to indicate the closing distance when the photo shows the car just a few inches off the tow-bar.
All in all this is great buy for those new to caravanning and it gives a lot of reassuring advice in times of difficulty.

Great book!
I had bought the caravan manual, but realised that this was not for a novice so returned it and purchased this book, have to say its packed with tips on just about everything to do with caravaning, we will be using it all the time as this is our first tourer. I would recommend this book for anyone new to touring a caravan :)
